Wow! England stun All Blacks

AN INEXPERIENCED England side pulled off one of their greatest triumphs over New Zealand, the rugby world champions, at a pulsating Twickenham stadium yesterday.

England romped home to win 38-21 — a record 17-point margin — to secure their first victory over the All Blacks in nine years. The defeat for New Zealand brought to an end an unbeaten run of 20 matches since they raised the World Cup last year.

It is only the seventh time that England have beaten their mighty southern hemisphere rivals. At one point yesterday, the home side were leading 15-0 after four penalties and a drop-goal by fly-half Owen Farrell.
