Embraer Executive Jets received on Monday (31) the certification of aeronautical authority of the United States, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the new jet Legacy 450. The Legacy 450, Embraer's latest product, sleeps up to nine passengers and is the only in its class (mid-size) to have a cabin with 1.83 meters in height and floor plan, allowing occupants to stand up in interior.
The new Embraer jet is also the first in its class equipped with fly-by-wire controls technology, which increases the aircraft's level of automation and thereby facilitates the pilot's work. The new Embraer aircraft can also operate in small airfields, in need of 1,220 meters to take off and just 700 m for landing. The Legacy 450 is valued at about $ 17 million.
