The Aerolease signed an agreement of intent with Mitsubishi Aircraft for the fixed order of 10 MRJ90, with options for another 10 aircraft of the type of contract.
"The experience in the manufacture of aircraft and strong financial background of the Mitsubishi group are of great value to us," said the member of Aerolease, Jep Thornton. The final contract will be signed later, for now the only Aerolease had intended to purchase.
By the time the MRJ has 233 firm orders, with over 170 options. Mitsubishi has conducted the first flight of the aircraft and is working to make the aircraft as quickly as possible.
