Air Canada orders 75 Bombardier CS300

Air Canada filed a letter with the intention to purchase for up to 75 CSeries aircraft from Bombardier, which specifically would be the CS300 model with greater capacity to date. The final price of the contract could reach 3.8 billion dollars, which would help pay part of the cost of the project, the letter presented by Air Canada demonstrates the interest in 45 aircraft as a fixed purchase and 30 option aircraft.

Bombardier estimates that the delivery of the CS300 to Air Canada start in 2019, with completion scheduled for 2023 if only 45 aircraft. If the total order is for 75 CS300 delivery may postpone for another year. The goal of the Canadian airline is to replace the current first generation Ejet, operating in the range of 100-130 seats in total are 31 Ejets the fleet of Air Canada.
