The Blue released an internal memo to crew reporting a reduction in flights and transfers of 20 aircraft for other companies. Measures will be taken to cross the crisis the country is currently facing, which reduced the demand for air travel, and increased costs due to the dollar.
The crew members who choose to join will have 4 options of unpaid leave, which is subject to approval based on availability of vacancies and seniority in the company. The measure extends for pilots, stewards and aviators. Employees can count on health care already offered by Blue, for a maximum period of 12 months.

Lately Blue has performed the transfer of aircraft for TAP Portugal, which includes 9 Eject Embraer aircraft that currently make up the fleet of Blue, 8 ATR 72 and two A330-200 aircraft. The 20th aircraft to be transferred has not yet been confirmed.
During the time duration of the validity of all licenses, Blue may not contract directly, with priority those already waiting on the list, according to the validity of each.
