Republic Airways Embraer customer asks bankruptcy in the US

The US regional airline Republic Airways, a major customer of the Brazilian manufacturer jets Embraer , filed for bankruptcy protection on Thursday (25).

The Republic cited several quarters of decline in revenue after having had to keep charts aircraft amid the lack of pilots.

The company's regional flights that complements the meshes of American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Continental listed assets of $ 3.6 billion and liabilities of $ 3 billion, according to court documents.
