Boeing 747 Lufthansa is used in emergency simulated in RIOGaleão


The RIOgaleão held yesterday (30/03) in the Tom Jobim International Airport, Simulated Exercise Aeronautics Emergency (ESEAC), one of the mandatory tests provided by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) to assess the airport's efficiency in case of accidents air. The simulated, involving the team's response to emergencies, with the collaboration of professionals from the Air Force Hospital Galeao (HFAG), the Special Infantry Battalion (BINFAE), the Reverse Split Air Military (GAM) and the policing Battalion in Tourist Areas (BPTUR), as well as volunteers from the dealership, members of the Fire Brigade, the Brazilian Red Cross and 11 airlines. 
More than 200 people participated in the exercise, whose main objective is to optimize the victims of saving time a plane crash, represented at the time by volunteer actors.


To set the scene, the Boeing 747-800 Lufthansa used the regular route between Rio de Janeiro and Frankfurt, was moved to one of the taxiways and represented the aircraft involved in the incident.For the simulation of the rescue, the test had four cars fire fighting, two Search and rescue cars, five ambulances, a helicopter and a car mobile command post, in addition to support fire trucks, security and support patio and track. 

"It's important to be prepared for any type of adverse situation that may happen at the airport, especially with the arrival of a size of the event of the Olympics, when we have to deal with an even greater flow of aircraft landing and taking off. The integrity and security of our passengers is a priority for our operation, "says Herlichy Bastos, director of RIOgaleão operations. The exercise, which lasted about two hours, also counted with the participation of representatives of Civil Defense, ANAC, Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA), Naval Air Station of São Pedro da Aldeia (BAeNSPA) , Changi Airports International and Inframérica, who acted as observers of the action.
