According to American Airbus is intended for American Airlines

The second Airbus A321 built in the United States has received his painting at the final assembly line (FAL). The aircraft is the first of eight A321 to be delivered to American Airlines direct from the Airbus facility in Alabama. The first unit will be delivered at the beginning of the 3rd quarter of this year, the others follow according to the limitation of local production.

The aircraft is the second A321 to be produced at Airbus unit US Manufacturing in Mobile, but the first for American Airlines. The painting was done by MAAS Aviation, the company is responsible for aircraft painting in the new Airbus plant, located in Aeroplex Mobile.

The Final Assembly Line for Airbus in the United States dedicated solely to the production of A320 family aircraft to customers in North America. Airbus expects to increase the production rate, with the new facilities, to 52 aircraft per month in 2018 and 60 aircraft by 2020, supported by its units in Germany, France, China, and the newest in Alabama, United States.
