FIDAE 2016 - Embraer is confident in the future of KC390

During FIDAE 2016, Embraer said he is confident about the future of the KC-390 and satisfied with the way the test flight. The company is committed to achieving certification KC until the end of 2017, with start of operations already in 2018 by the FAB, according to Paul Gaston, director of the KC-390 program, the first test aircraft (pictured above) has held more than 150 hours of flight, while the second prototype is close to fly for the first time, after being approved in ground tests.

Embraer Defense will still add 2 more prototypes for static testing, focused on the structure of the aircraft, an important item to make sure its similar resistance to best freighters in the world this requirement, such as Hercules and C-17. The first two prototypes will be used only for flight tests and ground, while the last two, as described above, will collaborate with the evolution of reliability.
