Osasco gets new TAM Cargo terminal



TAM Cargo, cargo unit of TAM Linhas Aereas, began operating this week a new terminal in Osasco, important receiving center and company goods distribution to airports in Sao Paulo. After the reforms now, the new space was with 416m² of total area and allow for increased cargo handling capacity by 163% monthly.


Located on Avenue of Autonomistas, downtown, the new terminal offers best location, quality gain in service and more convenience for customers and employees. The terminal, which will run from Monday to Friday, from 8h to 20h and Saturday from 9h to 13h, will also care for people with special needs in unique counter to these customers. On-site work 29 employees of the company.


In the shed, the main goods handled are parts and industrial equipment, and pharmaceuticals, textiles and perishables. Investments in new Osasco terminal part of the R $ 80 million for the modernization of 22 terminals TAM Cargo, whose plan was initiated in 2013.


50 terminals that the company has, the Osasco is one of eight that work offline, that is, which is not located at an airport, said the general director of TAM Cargo, Luis Quintilian. "However, it is an extremely important center because there receive and ship cargo to the airports of Guarulhos and Congonhas.
