An ATR 72-600 will begin a demonstration tour in the US and Canada from May 02. According to ATR, this is the first time that the latest series of ATR -600 aircraft will be flying demonstration in North America, stopping in Toronto, Chicago, White Plains, Hyannis, Washington DC, Charlotte, Dallas, Seattle and Cincinnati.
"The ATR 72 is perfectly aligned with the operational needs of airlines offering short-haul flights in North America. The fuel efficiency of the ATR '-600 series can contribute strongly to restore regional air connectivity to many cities that have suffered from air service reductions over the past decade.This allows airlines to significantly improve the supply of products to its customers, "Patrick said Castelbajac, CEO of ATR.
The aircraft that will be doing the tour will also be featured on static display at the Regional Airline Association to be held in Charlotte, from May 8. ATR expects to receive orders by demonstrating the internal comfort and efficiency of its aircraft series -600.
