The parliamentary inquiry BNDES [Bank for Economic and Social Development] approved on Thursday research requirements which must achieve the governor of Minas Gerais, Fernando Pimentel (PT), former Minister of Development. Lawmakers approved bank secrecy breaks, tax, telephone and e-mails from the RPG Real Estate Consulting, which belonged to Pimentel, and Pepper agency, which coordinates the digital PT communication strategy.
Pepper hired the first lady of Minas Gerais, journalist Carolina Oliveira, by real 440,000, for "representation services". Payments are under suspicion and are under investigation by the Federal Police and the Public Prosecutor.
Operation Acronym Pimentel clears it benefited from a group of businessmen suspected money laundering in contracts with the federal government. The partners of Pepper agency, Daniele Fonteles and Amauri Teixeira, are also the subject of an application for suspension of secrecy. The term is ten years between 2005 and 2015.

The commission's suspicions are that the business benefited from more than 10 billion reais in credit after their companies are supposedly selected by the government.
The requirements analyzed Thursday, CPI BNDES also approved the breakdown of bank, tax secrets and transaction data including the bank, the Abreu e Lima Refinery (RNEST) in Pernambuco and Petrobras. The RNEST is one of the main focuses of corruption detected in Operation Lava jet and one of the areas of expertise of former Petrobras director Paulo Roberto Costa.
