The ad used to say that support for the president was spontaneous. It is a difficult version to believe, however.
Suspicions that Monteiro delighted the audience to pay ever existed. So much so that in August, the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo, parliamentarians defended an investigation into the advertising. The aim was to check the suspicion that it just was part of PT's strategy to garner sympathy in networks.
The profiles of Dilma Jackpot won networks in 2010, Twitter and Facebook. Today, they have respectively 472,000 followers and 1.6 million fans. The breakup announcement soon gained the networks, ranking first among the subjects most talked about Twitter (TT).
