Petrobras will appeal the injunction suspending the sale Gaspetro

Petrobras said it has not yet been summoned on Bahia judge for an injunction that suspended the saleof 49% of Gaspetro the Japanese Mitsui, but said it will appeal the decision "through the appropriate legal measures," according to statement issued on Thursday .

The state said that "finished these sales within the absolute legality, and obtained all necessary approvals, without restrictions," including approval of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade).

The sale of Gaspetro to Mitsui was completed in December for 1.93 billion reais. The injunction that barred the deal was granted by the federal judge John Paul pyrope de Abreu, the municipality of Bahia Paulo Afonso. It was made on Monday in response to a class action filed by José Gama Neves, a member of the executive committee of the state party directory Democrats in Bahia.
