Textron Aviation said on the fifth (18/02) that its Cessna Aircraft subsidiary received a firm order for 25 Cessna Skyhawk 172S of a flight school in Indonesia. The order of the flight school Sekolah Tinggi Penerbangan Indonesia was announced during the Singapore Airshow.
Deliveries of the aircraft with piston engine, manufactured in Cessna's facility in Independence, is expected to begin later this year and continue throughout the year 2017. The ordered aircraft will be used to train about 300 students per year in one of the eight sites where the flight school is present.
