A350 XWB will be at FIDAE

Airbus confirmed that the A350 XWB will make his debut at FIDAE (Feria Internacional del Aire y del Espacio) which takes place in Santiago, Chile.

This aircraft will be developed for each test (MSN002) and will arrive after making a tour in Buenos Aires. The A350 will remain on static display and will also perform daily flight demonstrations, between March 29 and April 1. The next day the plane returns to Toulouse, France

The MSN002 is equipped with a cabin of two classes, with 42 fully reclining seats in business class, with four seats per row, and 210 seats in economy class, in nine seats per row configuration.

"Airbus has participated in FIDAE for nearly two decades, Latin America has tremendous potential for development of additional routes for long-range, and with the A350 XWB already operating in the region, the model is perfect to be presented during the FIDAE" said Rafael Alonso, president of Airbus for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Currently, more than 600 Airbus aircraft are in operation throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, with approximately 1,000 aircraft sold in the region and a backlog of more than 450 aircraft to be delivered. Over the past 10 years, Airbus tripled its in-service fleet to deliver more than 60% of all models above 120 seats in the region.
