Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras received authorization this week to fly their planes to Europe. The company was certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA - European Aviation Safety) to start its operations in the Old Continent. The company will start its operations in Lisbon, Portugal, this semester.

"This certification is a guarantee that our operations are safe and of quality. We already have the certificate from the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration - Aviation organ of the United States) and now the EASA, which will serve as a passport to the activities in Lisbon. It is an extremely important recognition and, therefore, is the thanks to the commitment of the teams involved in this process that worked flawlessly for this new achievement, "extols Flávio Costa, vice president of Technical Operations Blue.

The Blue travel to Lisbon will be carried out by jets of long-haul Airbus A330. These aircraft had their newly renovated cabins .
