Japanese airline shows third plane with the Star Wars painting


Japan's All Nippon Airways (ANA) presented the third plane member of the special series Star Wars. The Boeing 777-300ER received an allusive painting to BB-8 robot, which made its debut in the final film in the Star Wars series, "The Force Awakening".

Like other aircraft, the stylized painting refers to the forms and colors of the friendly robot. IN 2015, the company introduced a Boeing 787 Dreamliner with allusive colors to R2-D2's iconic and a Boeing 767 with a painting honoring both robots.

ANA has partnered with Disney and Lucasfilm to honor the fans of the Star Wars series. The new aircraft will make its first flight from Tokyo to Los Angeles tomorrow (29), later heading for destinations served by the airline.

Airplanes "R2-D2 ANA JET", "STAR WARS ANA JET" and "BB-8ANA JET" have become mythological among fans of the series, in the United States and Japan are programmed to see and photograph the jets. The interior also received some commemorative items Star Wars series. View photos of planes:
