Delta is almost finalizing purchase with Airbus and Bombardier

Delta announced that it is ending almost two lots of shopping with two different manufacturers, Bombardier and Airbus. The first refers to a lot of CSeries line of aircraft from Bombardier, the newest bet the Canadian manufacturer for the regional sector, it is expected that an order for 125 aircraft is carried out, but that total not every request will be for orders still, it was also not disclosed on which version of the CSeries Delta interested.

Delta would also be close to placing an order for 30 units of Airbus A321 aircraft already used in its fleet, the deal is valued at over $ 3.5 billion at list price . Currently Bombardier says that the order would be a great increase in the CSeries project, which currently has only 250 fixed applications, the latest made by Air Canada, which resulted in a firm order for 45 aircraft CS300, currently the version with higher capacity CSeries. The goal of Bombardier's CS300 certify to the end of the first half, with deliveries starting in the first quarter 2017, while the CS100 will have its first unit delivered to the Swiss in the third quarter of this year.
