Transporting extreme value items simply is not anything to any company in the world, at least scratched and the result can be a very high compensation for our standards. KLM Cargo specializes in performing this type of service considered as "high risk", not transport enriched uranium or oil barrels, but perform all the logistics involving the transport of goods, or items that cost a lot in normal market .

KLM has already made the transport of several works of Piet Mondrian, an artist so dedicated that 5 to 10 people in the world should already know his name, even by reference. But this time the mission was even greater, carry 8 (yes, they are EIGHT) Rolls-Royce in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to Johannesburg, South Africa.

The eight cars have a total value of 4.5 million euros, something close to 18.91 million reais in quote today (06/04). All cars come a long way, they were transported from Britain truck to Amsterdam, the cars have arrived in pallets for aircraft and were directed directly to the shipping industry, without ado.

Cars flew to Johannesburg with a Boeing 747-400ERF. Before the cargo being loaded on the plane, there was the flight envelope protection. This includes an inspection by substances or items (hidden) which endanger flight safety. Examples include filled with fire extinguishers and the fuel tank, which can never contain more than 25% gasoline. The cars are also inspected to check any damage occurred during transportation.

But because so many flying Rolls-Royce to South Africa? Simply a press release in Stellenbosch, a place with very similar ways to those in Europe, including visual. KLM describes as "a truly magnificent and elegant setting, surrounded by spectacular mountains" .
