TAM will monitor Blue and switch to new terminal of Viracopos


From April 23, TAM Airlines will move its air operations in Viracopos, São Paulo, to the new infrastructure that will be released by the new airport concessionaire. All the company's local operations will be concentrated in the modern Terminal 1, which has a capacity to serve up to 14 million passengers per year.

Currently, TAM operates up to four domestic flights per day in Viracopos, all bound for Brasilia. No scheduled time of arrival and departure of these flights will be changed due to the change. In the new Terminal 1, TAM will have available the latest check-in systems, including self-service totems, and a new location for your store and your passengers the service counters.

All operational transfer is being coordinated by the the Viracopos airport concessionaire, having counted on making various physical tests to ensure the safety and convenience of the new flows and terminal structures. TAM has also contributed to the improvement of systems in the new terminal and is contacting passengers to inform them of this transfer.

During this transition period, TAM advises passengers to program in advance the arrival at the airport, and recommends preferably the early check-in, which can be done through the internet, the mobile and self-service totems installed in the new terminal of Viracopos .

In official announcement TAM said that " evaluates positively the transfer in Viracopos, as it considers essential all infrastructure investment to Brazil envision a new cycle of growth, with competitiveness for their businesses, and better service and customer service and user all national air industry. "
