Ryanair receives 400th Boeing 737NG in its fleet


Boeing and Ryanair made a milestone today with the delivery of Boeing 737NG number 400 of Ryanair, in all have passed the fleet of 400 Ryanair Boeing 737. Currently, low-cost carrier with Irish base operates the largest fleet of aircraft 737NG the world.

"The Boeing 737-800 has been the foundation on which is our successful growth since we receive the first aircraft in 1999," said Chief Operating Officer of Ryanair, Michael Hickey. "We are delighted to receive our 400th 737-800, which includes the new Boeing Sky Interior and Slimline seats, offering extra legroom and an improved customer experience."

Ryanair has pioneered the low-cost model in Europe for over 30 years, standardized fleet of Boeing 737NG provided a basis for sustainable growth over the years. Ryanair is the largest Boeing operator in Europe, with more than 1,800 daily flights carrying 106 million passengers a year to more than 30 countries.

Ryanair has more than 130 orders not received for 737-800NGs and is also the launch customer for the 737 MAX 200, the high-density version of the 737 MAX8, which carries up to 200 passengers.Ryanair currently has a fleet of 338 Boeing 737NG and 4 more support aircraft, 3 Learjet 45 and one Boeing 737-700 training.
