Bombardier CSeries concluded tests in airline simulation

Bombardier completed a European airports by test series performing an air operation simulation in a unit of the CS100, which belongs to the test fleet. About 30 airports in the European continent were visited by the CS100 over a period of 3 weeks, on routes like the Swiss operates.

"Considering that Bombardier is entering the CS100 aircraft in a number of current operations, the fleet of proof testing program provided us with a real indication of how the CSeries will operate on our network when we receive the first unit in June," said Peter Wojahn, Technical Director of Swiss International Air Lines.

The CS100 conducted several flights using operational procedures and airline typical configuration, but without passengers on board. The flights provided data on CSeries's performance on a fixed schedule of flights and several airports. Underperforming Aerodrome, very busy, connections and operations on the ground are some of the most important characteristics that were observed. The results are in line with the observations earlier and confirmed the goals that Bombardier proposed for these three weeks.

Bombardier took the visits in various cities to promote and show the operation of your aircraft for some airlines, but has not stated which companies have shown interest in knowing an aircraft already certified the CSeries.
