Hugh Jackman will live Apostle Paul in biblical drama

Hugh Jackman will star in and produce the drama Apostle Paul, based on the Bible character's history, considered the author of 14 of the 27 books of the New Testament. According to the American Deadline site, the duo Matt Damon and Ben Affleck will also be part of the production of the film, which comes to thicken the high Lode biblical plots.

In the story, Paul was called Saul and persecuted the followers of Jesus. The change occurs during a journey between Jerusalem and Damascus, when Jesus who had died and risen, appears wrapped in a strong light from the heavens. Blindsight Paul, who converts to Christianity during the experiment and then back to see. It is not known whether the film will make a cut in the life of the character or be faithful to the biblical text. For now, there is no release date.

Before turning to drama, the Australian actor wear the Wolverine hero costume twice more: in X-Men: Apocalypse, scheduled for 2016, and a long solo character, still untitled. Jackman is the second actor to leave the franchise: Jennifer Lawrence also said that no longer interpret the bluish Mystique.
